PNG Forest Products manufactures as part of its product range, CCA/ACQ pressure treated plantation pine timber and timber products. Pine timber is treated by the vacuum/pressure impregnation process according to its utilization class.
PNGFP has Australian ‘Department of Industry’ Certification & Registration (Plant Number 765 01) for the treatment of CCA/ACQ pressure treated plantation pine to provide durable and protected timber for every type of project.Our sawn and round timber is randomly and rigorously tested by Tim Tech Ltd in Australia and the Timber Training Institute in Lae to ensure compliance with Australian and Papua New Guinea building standards.
Our ability to produce pressure treated pine at our certified and international standard plant ensures quality, durable and protected timber is available for every type of project.
PNG Forest Products has supplied PNG Power and its predecessor Elcom, wooden poles for almost 30 years, a further example of the high durability of our Pine Products.
